This Is What Lineage Means:
That photograph at the top is the original A New Hope helmet. The helmet beneath it is ours.
Everything we make begins with lineage connected to the real, screen-used movie pieces. These aren’t fan sculpts, digital interpretations, or helmets designed on a computer and 3D printed to look close. The shapes, asymmetry, and small imperfections come from the original helmets themselves—the same details you actually see on screen.
That’s the difference between making something that resembles Vader and preserving the physical history of Vader.

The Finish is Part of the Craft:
When you look at the finished helmet, you see the shine. What you don't see are the years it takes to learn how to lay down clear this smooth, deep, and glass like right out of the gun.
This is our Signature SFX Clear. It isn't just something sprayed over the helmet at the end... It's the final stage of the Craftsmanship that went into everything underneath it.

Before the Final Assembly:
This is one of my favorite stages of the build. The face plate is finished and lying here on the bench, waiting for the lenses, tusks, grills, and final hardware.
Before I assemble everything, I always take one nice look over the paint, the finish, and all those smaller details. Right now, it's still a collection of individual handmade pieces. Once everything comes together, it becomes Vader.

From the Bench to the Box
The work doesn't end when the helmet is finished. Every piece gets one final inspection before I carefully pack it for the journey to it's new owner.
After all the casting, preparation, painting, detailing, and assembly, this is the moment the helmet finally leaves my bench and becomes part of someone else's collection. 🔥

Bringing Vader to Life

Back in 2001, our very first release was A New Hope helmet:
From the beginning, I chose to brush paint every one of them. At the time, nearly every other helmet was being spray-painted, but after studying the original in person, it was clear that ANH finish had to be done by hand. Some question the approach because it wasn't obvious on screen, but the authenticity isn't always about what's easiest to see. It was about staying true to the original.
Not every ESB helmet was finished the same:
Hero helmets received extra attention for close-up scenes, while background and stunt helmets were finished or not finished at all for different filming needs.
